I am sure that this guy don't know about pc at all. First of all we should buy ram according to the FSB of our processor. Bigger is not better always. It will be a wastage.

Secondly, I think PS/2 ports save the USB ports. Keyboard and mouse take less bandwidth so a low speed peripheral will make it more optimum.

This article is good to know about the latest hardwares, But is not good as a buying guide.

Great quick article. Even for an used-to-be expert like Iwas, it is very useful to reassure you of some facts so I dont lose time wondering no brainers

thanks

Except that model is very very old and no longer available. The prices you see listed there are for batteries and/or AC adapters.

You won't find a decent laptop... or rather even a low end laptop for less than £250 which is pretty cheap or it is to me anyway.

It is possible to find a netbook for around £200 if you can tolerate the smaller 9" displays.

There's just a few suggestions.

I need to buy a new desktop PC and I need your help because I don't understand anything.

I will just use it for e-mail, excel, word.
DO you know if this one is OK? http://www.twenga.co.uk/prices-TravelMate-330-ACER-Laptop-221919-0

It's the cheapest and I don't want to spend a lot of money.
thanks.
