As to Thanksgiving...well...in a roundabout way England is the direct cause for that particular celebratory holiday :) And Black Friday is just a good reason to shop at a discounted rate after Thanksgiving. I won’t deny that I went about this piece with a very explicit americo-centricity as you put it. As to Thanksgiving…well…in a roundabout way England is the direct cause for that particular celebratory holiday :) And Black Friday is just a good reason to shop at a discounted rate after Thanksgiving.
